By using High On Bars you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
High On Bars is a community site where people rate and review Kenyan hip hop songs, albums, cyphers, artists and producers. Ratings and reviews are the opinions of individual users and not statements of fact by us.
Accounts
You can rate without an account. You need an account to post written reviews. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
Rules for ratings and reviews
- Be honest. Do not create fake ratings, use more than one account to rate the same item, or ask others to boost or attack a score.
- No hate speech, threats, harassment, or abuse aimed at a person or group.
- No false statements of fact about real people, and no private information about anyone.
- No spam, advertising or links to harmful sites.
- Nothing illegal.
We may remove ratings, reviews or accounts that break these rules, without notice.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give us permission to display it on the site and to use it to work out averages and rankings. Only submit songs, cover art or other material that you made or have permission to share.
Reporting and removal
If you believe a review or submission breaks these rules, or infringes your copyright or other rights, email highonbaars@gmail.com with the link to the page, what is wrong, and how to reach you. We will look into it and remove content where appropriate.
Promoted content
Some items may be labelled “Promoted”. Promoted items are marked clearly and are separate from community ratings.
Battles and rankings
Battle votes and rankings reflect the choices of site visitors only. We may remove votes or ratings that appear to be fake or manipulated.
No guarantees
We work to keep the site running and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, and we do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site.
Changes
We may change these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
